Stolen Property Returned To Lawrenceburg Business

Law enforcement officials recently investigating a number of thefts in the area were able to return some stolen property to one local business last week.

According to reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department, detectives were working a case on Friday that involved recovered property from a separate burglary when they discovered a Garmin GPS device that had not been reported stolen there.

Detectives report that they were able to review the GPS history to determine that the device belonged to Arctic Air Conditioning. They were able to confirm with employees that the device had been stolen from a 1994 Ford work van belonging to the business.

Once the investigation was completed the device was returned to the owner. Detectives report that burglary and theft charges will be sought through the Lawrence County Grand Jury against a twenty one year old Zinker Road resident suspected of committing the crime.

Charges against a fourteen year old juvenile will be sought through Lawrence County Juvenile Court.
