Police Department Cars To Be Listed For Auction

   Lawrenceburg Commissioners gave the okay Thursday to list two police department cars with an auction site.

   The matter was brought before the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Commissioners, who met in regular session Thursday evening. During the meeting, the board was asked to declare two Lawrenceburg Police Department vehicles as “surplus property.” Commissioners opted to do so.

   As has been the case in the past, the vehicles will be listed for auction at:  www.govdeals.com. Proceeds from the sales will be earmarked for the department’s Drug Fund.
