New Demolition Landfill Open For Business

   Officials with the City of Lawrenceburg announced this week that the city’s new Demolition Landfill is officially open for business.

   The city has been working for some months to prepare the parcel of land on Wildcat Ridge, adjacent to the old demolition landfill, and have it certified through the Environmental Protection Agency. With that certification in-hand, officials have now begun to accept demolition materials at the facility.

   Those wishing to dump demolition materials must first stop by the offices of the Lawrenceburg Streets Department on Ezell Drive. There, fees are assessed based upon the amount of debris and size of the load. Individuals must then transport the materials to the Wildcat Ridge site for offloading.
