Grand Jury Returns Indictment In Child Rape Case

   A grand jury has opted to indict a Lawrenceburg man arrested last month on charges of sexually abusing a young relative.

   Officials indicate that evidence against the suspect, Faron Lee Jaco, 53, of 629 Big Springs Road, was presented to a session of the Lawrence County Grand Jury last week. Authorities had sought an immediate return and were so granted.

   Members of the panel returned an indictment charging Jaco with one count of rape of a child. The alleged victim is ten years old.

   Since shortly after his July 10 arrest, Jaco has remained free under a bond of $50,000.
