Two separate traffic stops resulted in a narcotics and weapons bust for the Lawrence County sheriff's office.
The Lawrence County sheriff's office shared on their page two separate traffic stops that occurred on Thursday night where narcotics and firearms were confiscated.
According to Lawrence County Deputies one of the traffic stops occured along Old Jackson Highway in Leoma where one female suspect led deputies on a pursuit that ended near the intersection of Bluff Road, and Thornton Lane in Saint Joseph.
The female suspect was arrested on multiple charges which included drug charges after a search of her vehicle produced 135.5 grams of methamphetamine, pills, and baggies.
In a separate incident a traffic stop was conducted on North Military Avenue that resulted in the arrest of two men in the possession of narcotics and firearms.
Bo Brian Ramagos was arrested on charges of one count each of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of schedule 1 for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Andre Paul McNeal was arrested on charges of theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, violation of probation, and failure to appear.
Sheriff John Myers spoke on the traffic stops by saying, “The officers involved these two situations did an awesome job in handling the cases. These men and women are the driving force in our department’s war on drugs in Lawrence County. Their efforts are helping us take our county back one gram at a time. As a reminder to those who choose to run from Lawrence County law enforcement, you will be caught and taken to jail so save yourself the effort and the charges you will face and don’t do it."
