Intercity Bus Service Between Lawrenceburg And Nashville Begins Monday

Nashville, TN – Final preparations are being made to the new ATRunner motorcoaches that will transport passengers on scheduled daily runs between Lawrenceburg and Nashville, TN beginning Monday, July 27.

The round-trip bus service will run twice daily on weekdays and once daily on weekends with stops in Lawrenceburg, Ethridge, Columbia, Spring Hill, Franklin, and Nashville, TN making connections with the Donelson Music City Star, downtown MTA and greyhound stations and Nashville International Airport.

The new service will benefit everyone from busy commuters, who will enjoy Internet services and 110v power for operating portable electronic devices, to people using the service to visit doctors or other appointments.

Crews are busy installing external graphics on the new motorcoaches Sunday in preparation for the new bus service operated by Anchor Trailways & Tours of Nashville.

The new public transit service is funded through a federal grant administered by the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

The grant is designed to address the intercity travel needs of residents and people in rural areas of Tennessee.
