Thieves Remove Blocks From Wall To Burglarize Business

Concrete blocks were removed from an exterior wall as thieves sought to gain entry into the warehouse of a local business during the weekend.

Josh Duke of Swap and Shop Center summoned Lawrenceburg Police Officers to the scene of the burglary Saturday evening. He indicated that he had left the 100 Third Street building, utilized as a warehouse, around 2:00 p.m. the previous day and all was well. On Saturday he found that someone had broken several concrete blocks from the wall.

While Duke did not identify any property as missing, damages to the structure were said to total $500.
