Arson Info Sought

On July 6th, 2009 the Lawrenceburg Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 1114 Clearview Avenue.

On arrival fire crews found a two family residence showing heavy smoke from one side of the duplex.  Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department had removed two occupants from the adjoining side before fire crews arrived.

While fire crews were extinguishing the fire, information was obtained of this fire being intentionally started. An investigation began immediately.

Investigators are hoping that someone that was in the area the night of the fire will come forward with any information they have of how this fire was started.

This fire endangered the lives of three individuals, two of whom had no connection to the person or persons believed to be responsible for the fire.  Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

Persons with information that helps solve this case could be eligible for a cash award.
