Thursday Morning Meeting Set For Lawrenceburg Council
Members of the City of Lawrenceburg’s Board of Mayor and Council will meet in regular session Thursday morning, with only a couple of items of business to consider.
The agenda includes one ordinance, calling for a zoning change. It is being brought for second and final reading.
A resolution on the agenda is for the council to enter into a grant agreement with the Tennessee Department of Conservation for improvements at Rotary Park.
A second resolution requests that the council apply for grant funds through the Office of Criminal Justice Programs to be used for equipment upgrades in the Lawrenceburg Police department.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the council meeting room at the Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex on the Public Square.
