Courtesty: Jenifer Cull/ WLX News

An Amish man reported a break-in at his horse shoeing shop costing thousands in damage and loss.  Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reports indicate that sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, burglars broke a window for entry into the victim’s shop on Campbellsville Road in Ethridge.  A lock was cut off a desk and cash was taken.  Other missing items included saddles and medications for horses.  Loss is estimated at more than $3,500.
