Mailbox Vandals Strike Leoma Neighborhood

   A string of mailbox vandals reported overnight Tuesday is currently being eyed by local law enforcement officials.

   Most of the vandalisms occurred along Foust Hill Road, however reports indicate that at least one was reported along Old Florence Pulaski Road. Damages as a result of the crimes were estimated to total more than $100.00.

    Mailboxes at the following addresses were reported to have been smashed during the incident:  36, 50 and 67 Foust Hill Road, and 659 Old Florence Pulaski Road.

   The fifth resident reported her mailbox, which was secured into the ground with concrete, had been pulled from the ground. The action, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies report, did not disturb flowers that had been planted around the post.
