Business Owner Reports Inventory Listed On Ebay

The owner of a Lawrenceburg business told authorities last week that it appeared a large amount of his inventory had been stolen and listed for sale on the ebay auction website.

Donnie Keys, owner of Game Play, 1620 North Locust Avenue, filed the complaint on Thursday. He stated that he had noticed decreases in his inventory during a period that spanned from March 15 through Wednesday, July 11.

While searching the ebay website, Keys said, he located a large number of items for sale, that he believes legally belong to him. He voiced his belief that someone had been stealing the items from him, then selling them via the internet.

Keys reported missing:  four Nintendo DS game systems, one Gameboy Advance system, one Super Nintendo system, one Xbox system, one play station one system, one Sega Genesis system, one Sega Saturn system, five Play Station II game systems, 29 Play Station II games, 11 Xbox games, 14 Xbox 360 games, 51 Nintendo DS games, 65 Play Station games, 12 Gameboy Advance games, 46 Nintendo 64 games, 20 Super Nintendo games. Total loss is estimated to be $8,305.00.

The incident remains under investigation at the current time.
