Lawrence County Sheriff's office warns public about scammers posing as Social Security Representatives.

 

The Lawrence County Sheriff's office is warning the public about a phone scam going around in the area where scammers are posing as Social Security Representatives, and threatening to arrest the victim.

Sheriff Myers stated that the Social Security Office will never make first contact with you over the phone, and always remember not to give out your personal information over the phone.
