Burned Home Is Vandalized
The owner of a home in the Summertown area that recently suffered a fire, has reported to law enforcement officials that the home has since been vandalized.
Property owner Ramona Sue Smith of Antioch, Tennessee filed a complaint regarding the crime through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
Smith reported that she and her insurance agent had met at the 1076 North Brace Road property to assess the fire damage.
Inside, however, they discovered that someone had punched and kicked the interior walls, resulting in numerous holes. She reported that her tenants had returned to the property that day, as well, to retrieve their belongings.
Damages resulting from the vandalism were estimated to total $5,000.
