The Loretto police department were dispatched to a call of a possible overdose that resulted in the seizure of multiple narcotics including heroin.

 

The Loretto police department were dispatched on On July 10th to a possible overdose on Highway 43 between Loretto and Leoma.

Upon arrival officers located the vehicle where they found an unresponsive female inside, and Lawrence County EMS was called to help the female, Cheree Goff of Georgia, regain consciousness.

After assisting Goff she then refused any further medical treatment or transport.

Officers then conducted a search of the vehicle that resulted in the seizure of heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, and several items of drug paraphernalia located in a bag belonging to Goff.

Goff was arrested on charges possession of schedule I (heroin) for resale, possession of schedule II (meth) for resale, possession of schedule II (cocaine) for resale, possession of schedule II (oxycodone), possession of schedule VI (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Trever Love of Culleoka Tennessee who was the driver of the vehicle was arrested on charges of DUI.

Both subjects were transported to the Lawrence County Jail were they will appear in General Sessions Court on August 20th.
