Property Owner Reports Theft Of Kitchen Cabinets
A man who recently purchased a local property reported to law enforcement officials this week that someone had removed several items from his houses, including the kitchen cabinets.
The victim told officers that cabinets had been removed from the kitchens of both houses located on the Knob Creek Road property, and numerous items stolen.
The victim reported that he had been approached the previous day by a couple while he was working at the property. The couple told him they were there to get kitchen cabinets from one of the houses. He said that they left after he explained that he now owned the property, houses and everything inside the structures.
According to the victim, he discovered the next morning that the cabinets had been removed. He found that household items had been stolen and moved about. Some were stacked near a door. Others, he said, were missing. He reported that the burglaries had occurred sometime during the previous night.
The victim was able to provide officers with a description of both the suspects and their vehicle. Investigation in the case is currently on-going. Loss is estimated to total $1,500.
