Business And Education Expo Tuesday August 6
The Lawrence County TN Chamber of Commerce is again partnering with the Lawrence County School System to host the Business and Education Expo on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, 9:00a until 1:00p at the Lawrence Co High School Gym, 1800 Springer Road, Lawrenceburg TN 38464.
“Partnering with the School System allows us to highlight our local businesses and industry and show our appreciation for the continued and dedicated service of our local teachers.
This partnership not only honors and recognizes our teachers but increases traffic at the expo by about 1200 people, including teachers, certified staff, bus drivers and cafeteria staff,” said Daniel Webb, President of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
An exciting attraction is the giveaway that will be taking place; it is a great incentive for businesses and industry to participate in a fun way to honor our educators.
Each vendor will be asked to donate $50 or bring a $50 door prize to be given away to the teachers as a “Teacher Appreciation Day” gift. This is a great opportunity to advertise your company and the products it has to offer!
There will be no charge for booth rentals for members of the Chamber of Commerce as we want all monies to go toward honoring our teachers! There is a $100.00 booth rental fee for non-members.
“We would appreciate your participation as we feel this year will be one of the best years yet and look forward to continuing to grow this event. If you would like to reserve a booth at the Expo, please return the application to the Chamber of Commerce by July 30,” said Webb.
