Scorned Ex Backs Into Husband

When a woman’s affections were scorned by her husband during the weekend, she allegedly backed into him before fleeing from his home with a number of items.

The victim, age 24, reported the incident through the Lawrenceburg Police Department shortly before 6:00 p.m. Sunday. He told officers that he and his wife had been separated for approximately four weeks prior to the assault incident.

The victim stated that his wife had been at his Kennedy Street home for several hours Sunday when he explained that he was uninterested in “getting back together.” The victim stated that at this point his wife became angry.

Before leaving, the victim reports that his wife grabbed a bag of sex toys, a bag of batteries, a wedding band and a box of cassettes then headed for her car. He indicated that he followed and was standing in the driveway when she backed up her car and struck him. She then allegedly drove through his yard and fled.

Reports indicate that the resident was not injured as a result of the incident.

Investigation into the matter is continuing and the present time through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
