Electrical Improvements To Old Murray Facility Complete

In 2008, InSyte Solutions in conjunction with the State of Tennessee Economic and Community Development, The Lawrence County Joint Economic and Community Development Board, and County and City Officials began to facilitate electrical improvements to the old Murray facility.

Initial grant funding of $750,000.00 was sought and obtained to modernize and improve the facility’s electrical delivery system to allow for accommodating multiple tenants within the facility.  This project was completed on June 30th, 2011.

InSyte Solutions announced that the completion of this project allows for the marketing of the facility to a wide variety of businesses.

Working closely with the Chamber of Commerce, local officials, and the State of Tennessee, we are striving to bring new business to Lawrence County with the improvements to the existing facility.

Three other businesses, Assurance Packaging, All Source Logistics, and HLH Express currently reside in the facility and will benefit from the modifications of the electrical system.

The new electrical system has enhanced the flexibility, utilization, and administration for the electrical needs of current tenants, as well as, potential new businesses.

Blake Lay of InSyte Solutions stated, “We would personally like to thank The State of Tennessee, Local Officials, Chamber of Commerce, The Joint Economic and Community Development Board, the Team at LUS, CRS Engineering, Stewart Electrical and First Farmers.

This was truly a community effort to take an existing building, use it to grow and expand local employers, and enhance a marketable site for new businesses seeking to locate in Tennessee and Lawrence County.

We could not be more pleased with the joint efforts of all parties involved and the exceptional improvements made to the facility with this grant.”

“I would like to thank the InSyte team for their leadership and aggressiveness in pursuing this grant and seeing the project through.

My hope is the electrical improvements made will give us another tool to help recruit additional jobs to the old Murray facility,” said Daniel Webb, Executive Director of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
