Damages To SUV Caused By Fireworks
Damages to a vehicle belonging to a Kentucky man, visiting friends here on July 4, are being attributed to fireworks.
The victim, Shawn P. Derrington, 38, of Georgetown, Kentucky, reported the damages to Lawrenceburg Police Officers around 10:00 a.m. He reported while he was visiting his friends someone had thrown fireworks onto the front porch of their home.
When he went to his vehicle, a 2006 Honda SUV, he said he found fireworks on the hood and the clear coat had sustained damage.
Both the victim and homeowners indicated they did not know who had lighted and thrown the fireworks.
Damages were estimated to total $500.
