Intruder Leaves Beer In Frig

   A resident of West Point reported to authorities Wednesday that after being away, she returned to her home to find that someone had apparently made himself at home in her absence.

   Keren June Tidwell, 43, came to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department to file the complaint. She stated that she had left her home around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, and returned around 10:00 Wednesday morning.

   Tidwell told deputies she realized someone had been inside her home when she opened the refrigerator to find three beer bottles inside. She told deputies she does not drink beer.

   Tidwell stated that, at that time, she could identify nothing to be missing or out of place.

   Deputies report they attempted to lift a fingerprint from the beer bottle. Their attempts, however, proved unsuccessful.
