Authorities Eye Drug Thefts At Residential Home

   Law enforcement officials have been asked to open an investigation into missing medications at a Lawrenceburg assisted living facility.

   Staff members at Country Cottage, 469 Weakley Creek Road, summoned Lawrenceburg Police Officers to the home last week, indicating that medications for some of the patients had apparently been stolen. They reported a total of ten Lortab tablets were missing from the supply of a 93-year-old male resident, while four Ambien pills were missing from the supply of an 88-year-old female resident.

   The matter is under investigation presently. Anyone who has information regarding the crimes is urged to contact the police department at 931-762-2276.
