Teens Arrested For Stealing Auto Part From Car Lot

   Two teenagers have been arrested for allegedly stealing a part off an automobile at a Lawrenceburg car lot.

   Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department indicate that the teens, “did go to Brewer Motor Company (903 North Locust Avenue) and take an air breather off a 1987 Ford F-250…the property was recovered at Massey Motors in a car…” that one of the teens was driving.

   Andrew Theodore Franks, 19, of North Keenor Road, Leoma, was arrested, along with a seventeen-year-old Lawrenceburg resident. Both were charged with the crime of theft.

   Franks is scheduled for an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on July 6. The teen will answer his charge through Lawrence County Juvenile Court.
