Locals To Perform 35th Anniversary Production Of Gentleman From The Cane
Members of the Lawrenceburg Community Theater will perform a 35th anniversary production of Gentleman from the Cane, first performed in 1976, in honor of the U.S. bicentennial.
The play highlights the life of local politician and frontiersman David Crockett while he lived and worked in Lawrence County from 1817 to 1822. It is directed by playwright Dolly Leighton.
Performance dates are July 7-9, 15-16, and 22-23, at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Crockett Theater.
