Pilot indicted for landing on Lawrence County highway.

 

Pilot, Elroy Devoll, was indicted by a Lawrence County Grand Jury on charges for an incident that occurred in April where the pilot landed his plane on Highway 43, and then proceeded to drive the plane along the road to the nearby high school.

Devoll was arrested on charges of reckless operation of an aircraft, and reckless endangerment.

Devoll was released on a $25,000 bond.
