Rock Hurled At Passing Motorist

A motorist traveling along a Lawrenceburg street reported to law enforcement officials last weekend that someone had hurled a rock at her vehicle.

The victim, a twenty-two-year-old resident of Ardmore, Tennessee, summoned Lawrenceburg Police Officers to initiate an investigation just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20.

The motorist reported that she had been traveling south along Simms Street when the rock struck her vehicle. Officers noted that the rock had caused approximately $200 worth of damage to a rear quarter panel on the victim’s 2003 Oldsmobile Alero.

The victim was able to offer an identification for the individual who allegedly threw the rock.

At the present time the matter has been turned over for investigation through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
