Request Made By City Of Lawrenceburg

The City of Lawrenceburg ask our citizens to please refrain from throwing liquids such as oil, paint and other hazardous liquids into the garbage carts for disposal.

The type truck used by the city compacts garbage and even if it is contained within a bag – the bag will burst allowing the liquid to run out of the truck onto the streets creating hazards for pedestrians as well as damaging automobiles.

Paint that has been allowed to dry completely in the can may be placed in the cart.  Oil may be taken to the land fill for recycling.

Please help keep our city safe and clean.
