Internet cables cut at two Lawrenceburg homes

Lawrenceburg Now

Two local residents asked that law enforcement officers investigate after they discovered that cables delivering their internet service had been cut.

Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department responded to the Oakdale Avenue apartments on Wednesday. One of the residents reported that the cables had been cut going to both his apartment and that of his neighbor.

Both victims said their internet service had been working fine at 11:00 the previous night. When they attempted to use it around noon Wednesday, however, it was not operating.

One of the residents had gone outside and noticed that the lines had been cut. The men had already reported the matter to Charter Communications. A repairman told the reporting officer that damages totaled around $100.
