Suspect In Local Bank Robbery Jailed In Florida

A man suspected of being involved in a local bank robbery has been jailed by authorities in Florida.

Officials indicate the suspect, Douglas Terrell, 35, is being held in Baker County, Florida on unrelated charges. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Terry Beecham confirmed that Terrell is being eyed as a suspect in a local bank robbery. “His M.O. is certainly very similar all across the board,” Beecham explained.

Terrell was reported missing in June 7 of this year by his girlfriend after disappearing from their Lawrenceburg home. She told authorities they had resided at the address since Terrell’s release from prison in March. She later informed them Terrell had contacted her on June 13 from the home of a friend in Middleburg, Florida.

At this point charges have not been filed against Terrell in connection with the local bank robbery, however some indicate charges will likely be forthcoming.
