Vehicle Stolen At Closed Market

   A man who left his vehicle parked at a closed market Sunday evening returned to find it had been stolen.

   The victim told officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that that he had parked his 2002 Chevrolet Blazer at the former location of Handy Andy Market on North Locust Avenue around 6:00 p.m.

   The victim indicated that he returned to the parking lot around 10:45 p.m., but that his vehicle was nowhere to be seen.

   According to reports, broken glass was found lying where the vehicle had been parked. A “Be On the LookOut” alert was subsequently issued.

   The owner’s loss is estimated at $7,000.
