The Loretto Police department was serving a search warrant that resulted in getting narcotics, weapons, and counterfeit money off the streets.

 

According to the Loretto police department and the 22nd Judicial District Drug Task Force on Friday they served a search warrant at a North Old Military Road residence in Summertown.

Upon arrival officers made contact with 11 individuals with some attempting to flee before they were detained.

After a search was conducted officers found .5 ounces of methamphetamine, three handguns, counterfeit money, scales, packaging supplies, and various other items of drug paraphernalia were seized.

As a result 6 people were arrested on multiple charges.

Justin Smith was arrested on charges of possession of schedule II methamphetamine for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Justin Daniels was arrested on charges of possession of schedule II methamphetamine for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Jennifer Cottrell was arrested on charges of possession of schedule II methamphetamine for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Andre McNeal was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm.

Joni Richard was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct.

Also there was a 16 Year old Male that was charged with criminal simulation possession of counterfeit money, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The Loretto police department issued a thank you to the Lawrenceburg police department and K-9 Kilo, Saint Joseph police department, Lawrence County sheriff’s department, and Ethridge police department for their assistance.
