The Miss Liberty Beauty Pageant Is June 28

The Lawrence County chapter of the National Association of Junior Auxiliary is hosting a beauty pageant in honor of the Liberty Days celebration in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

On June 28th at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 at Historic Crockett Theatre girls ranging in ages from 18 months up to 14 years old will have the opportunity to be crowned Miss Tiny Tot Liberty presented by Big Chief’s Market, Tiny Miss Liberty presented by GreenBank, Little Miss Liberty presented by Bank of Frankewing or Junior Miss Liberty presented by First Farmers and Merchants Bank.

The top ten contestants in each division will receive a trophy and the winners will be presented at the “Gone with the Wind” ball on July 3rd, presented before the fireworks show on July 4th, and will appear in the Christmas Parade in Lawrenceburg.

An exciting addition to the pageant is additional contests for “Cutest Smile” presented Massey Jewelers, “Most Photogenic” presented by Story and Lee, and “Most Patriotic” presented by Markus Insurance.

Proceeds of the pageant will allow the ladies of Junior Auxiliary to continue their various service projects throughout their community – seasonal support for the Housing Authority’s Safe and Smart Program, providing all county schools with Junior JACKS boxes, donating a scholarship, presenting a back to school Kids Expo, and a new project called marvelous ME! (a program to support self esteem in pre-teen girls).
