Hot Weather Expected To Continue
With such a prolonged hot spell so early in the season, be careful not to be caught off guard.
Above normal temperatures will continue across the mid state for at least the next week.
You are urged to exercise normal hot weather precautions a little early this year. Safety measures include avoiding prolonged exposure to the heat and drinking plenty of water.
Temperatures in the upper 80’s to around the mid 90's will be common over the next several days. While readings this high are not unheard of in late May, they are well above normal.
