Giles Crash Claims Life Of Ethridge Resident

   A weekend crash in neighboring Giles County involving two Lawrence County drivers, resulted in the death of an Ethridge resident.

   Reports filed through the Tennessee Highway Patrol indicate the crash occurred at the U.S. Highway 64/East College Street intersection in Pulaski at 6:41 a.m.

   Ethridge resident Dewey A. Workman , 72, was stopped at the intersection in a 1988 GMC truck.when Terry W. Camron, age 37, of Leoma approached the junction.

   Workman reportedly failed to yield the right of way, pulling into the path of Camron’s vehicle. Workman’s truck was impacted in the driver side door.

   Workman reportedly died as the result of injuries he sustained in the crash. Passenger Macy Joyce Workman, 70, was transported from the scene for medical attention.
