Thursday Crime Report

Police officers were sent to a South Circle residence at around 2:00 Wednesday morning after a resident discovered someone had shattered a tail light on her 2002 Jeep Cherokee. Damages were estimated at $75.

Recovered property

A resident of Palmer Street notified police officers Wednesday afternoon that she had found a Craftsman brand push mower sitting on her back porch. She told officers that the mower did not belong to her, and she was uncertain who could have placed it there.

Officers were dispatched to a Jackson Street address late Tuesday  where a woman reported her 2002 Saturn Vue had been vandalized. Reports show that the vehicle sustained scratches from the front quarter panel to the rear quarter panel. She said the damage likely happened while she was parked on North Locust Avenue. Damages were said to total $1,000.
