Resident Finds Meth, Paraphernalia Discarded In Field

A Lawrenceburg man requested that police officers be dispatched to his property Sunday after he discovered that methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia had been discarded on his property.

Reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department show that deputies were sent to the Campbell Lane home shortly before 5:00 p.m. The resident said that he had been in his field, south of the Buffalo Roads Crossroads, when he found a case.

Deputies report that the bag contained 1.5 grams of meth, a vile, pipe, digital scales, scoop, and a white box containing a plastic bag.

All of the items were taken into evidence. The incident currently remains under investigation.
