Brace Road Mailboxes Vandalized

   A resident of Summertown’s North Brace Road reported being awakened by a loud noise overnight Saturday discovered that a number of mailboxes along the roadway had been vandalized.

   The resident, age 33, indicated he had been awakened by the sound, then looked out to discover taillights near his mailbox. The resident indicated that the driver began to leave, and that he attempted to follow in order to obtain a driver license number. Those efforts, however, proved unfruitful.

   The victim indicated that his mailbox and mailbox post were damaged, as were several along that roadway.

   Damages were said to total approximately $100.
