Deputies Intervene When Roommate Wields Knife
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies were asked to intervene Tuesday night when an Ethridge resident reported that his roommate had wielded a knife during a verbal dispute.
When they arrived at the Buffalo Road home, the victim, age 39, told deputies that he had asked his female roommate to turn down the volume on her radio. He said that she became angry and began displaying a knife.
As a result of the investigation resident Felicia Gale Adkins, age 51, was placed under arrest on charges of aggravated domestic assault. She was incarcerated at the Lawrence County Detention Center.
Adkins is scheduled to answer the charge in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on June 11, 2013.
