Induction For Loretto High Students
Loretto High School recently held the induction ceremony for student members of the National Business Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society.
Loretto High School currently is the only existing chapter of the National Business Honor Society in Tennessee.
To meet the requirements of induction, a business student must be a junior or senior enrolled in his/her third business course, and must have a 3.0 GPA overall and a 3.5 GPA in business courses.
Loretto High School Business Technology teachers, Roberta Niedergeses and Mary Pack, were pleased to induct 30 students into membership this year.
Members who are graduating seniors will be recognized with a special cord worn during this year’s graduation ceremony, as well as national recognition in National Business Education publications.

The National Technical Honor Society recognizes students from all areas of Career & Technical Education for their academic excellence.
For a student to be eligible for this honor, they must also be a junior or senior who has completed a course path in a Career & Technical cluster and maintained an overall GPA of 3.0 and a 3.5 GPA in their cluster area.
Graduating senior members will also be honored with a special cord worn at graduation. This year 48 students achieved this award.
