Lawrenceburg Early Voting Period Ends Thursday
Those wishing to participate in early voting for the May 5 City of Lawrenceburg election have until noon on Thursday to cast their votes.
Two seats on the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council are included on the ballot, along with a referendum regarding liquor by the drink.
Lawrenceburg Mayor Keith Durham is seeking reelection, opposed by Richard L. Grimes. Incumbent Jerry Moore is challenged in his bid for reelection to council Seat 1 by Chad Moore. Also, Councilmember Robin Williams seeks reelection to Seat 2, however he is unopposed.
Those wishing to participate in early voting must do so by 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the office of the Lawrence County Election Commission on Centennial Boulevard.
