Family Requests Continued Prayer For Couple Critically Injured In Crash

   “All prayers would be greatly appreciated,” said Timothy Gray regarding parents Paul and Louise “Lucy” Gray who were involved in an automobile crash in the Summertown area last Tuesday.

   The Gray’s, along with grandchildren Austin Lewis, 8, and Adrian Price, 13, were involved in a three car crash on U.S. Highway 43 North, at the Monument Road intersection on Tuesday, April 19.

   Although previously reported that Lewis was airlifted from the scene with Lucy Gray, he was actually transported by Ambulance to Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia along with Paul Gray. It was actually Price and Lucy Gray who were airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

   Timothy Gray indicates that both youngsters received medical treatment and were subsequently released. After evaluation in Columbia, however, Paul Gray was transported to Vanderbilt, as well.

   At the current time, Gray said the couple remains in critical condition in the facility’s Trauma Unit. As family members continue to keep vigil, Gray requests that continued prayers be said on behalf of the family.
