BPW To Host Equal Pay Political Debate

  The Lawrence County Business and Professional Women’s Club will host an Equal Pay Day political debate, and area residents are invited to attend.

  According to information provided by BPW, “Women in Tennessee are paid $0.77 for every $1.00 a man makes.” They invited, “Attend our political debate to understand why and what has to change for future generations.”

  The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Columbia State Community College on Springer Road.

  Door prizes and refreshments will be provided.
