Early Voting For Democrat Primary Gets Underway Wednesday
The early voting period for the May 4 Democrat Primary election gets underway Wednesday at the offices of the Lawrence County Election Commission.
The early voting period begins Wednesday morning and runs through Thursday, April 29, 2010. The outcome of the Democrat Primary will set the Democrat ballot for the August 5 County General Election.
Voting will take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the election commission office, and between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and noon on Saturdays.
Those wishing to participate in early voting are advised to bring along their voter registration cards in order to speed up the process.
