Amish Residents Transported To Hospital In Wake Of Crash
Six Amish residents were transported to the hospital after a truck crashed into a buggy on a Lawrenceburg street Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred just before 2:00 p.m. on North Locust Avenue. Witnesses reported the truck crashed into the buggy in the vicinity of McDonalds, then pushed the buggy toward the Weakley Creek Road intersection where the vehicles came to rest.
The driver of the truck was said to be uninjured, however two adult women, a teenage girl and three children in the buggy were transported by ambulance to Crockett Hospital for medical attention.
