Burglar Utilizes Dog Door

   A burglar who targeted a Lawrenceburg home during the weekend apparently made use of the dog door in order to gain access to the premises.

   Lawrenceburg Police Officers were dispatched to investigate the burglary at a home on Rayfield Avenue Saturday.

   The owner reported that he had arrived home to find that seven video games, valued at approximately $140, had been stolen.

   Officers report that the thief apparently used small dog doors in two different exterior doors in order to make entry into the house.

   The case remains under investigation at the present time through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Anyone who has information pertinent to the investigation is urged to contact the department at 762-2276.
