Ethridge Resident Indicted In Meth Lab Bust

After considering preliminary evidence, members of the Lawrence County Grand Jury have issued an indictment against an Ethridge woman, arrested in September when drug agents discovered a meth lab at her home.

Park Street residents Thomas Patrick White, Jr., age 35, and Tanya Lea Kelley, age 37, were taken into custody in September of last year after authorities received a tip from a concerned citizen.

Agents reported that odors associated with meth manufacturing were detected outside the home, and a meth lab was discovered in a nearby wooded area.

Methamphetamine, marijuana, morphine residue, items associated with meth manufacturing, and various items of drug paraphernalia were seized during a subsequent search of the premises.

Kelley has been indicted on charges of initiation of meth manufacture, promotion of meth manufacture, possession of Schedules II, II-R, and VI narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her initial appearance in Lawrence County Circuit Court will be on May 13, 2013.
