Still Is Seized In Lawrence County
On Friday, March 25, 2011, at approximately noon, 
Lawrenceburg Police Department Narcotics Unit and 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force Agents executed a search warrant at a Lawrence County address.
The objective of the warrant was to recover a Still. During the search, agents did find a custom built stainless "Still" and the preparations or "mash" at the address.
Agents seized the Still and its components. Anthony Joe Messer was cited for possessing the illegal Still.
The TCA reads it is unlawful for any person to have possession or control of any or other components or part of any Still or other apparatus, used or intended to be used for the purpose of manufacturing liquor as prohibited by law.
The Still will be sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations crime laboratory for analysis.
