Dog Is Suspect In Wednesday Vandalism
A dog is believed to be the culprit in a Wednesday afternoon vandalism incident that left damage to one Beckham Avenue home.
According to reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department officers were dispatched to 1208 Beckham Avenue shortly before 4:00 p.m. The resident, age 60, told officers she had heard a noise outside, coming from the direction of her front door. When she went to investigate, she discovered a large dog chewing on her door frame.
The dog was described as a cream/light brown color, possible Labrador retriever-type dog, wearing a black color with silver studs.
The officer who generated the report indicated he checked with some neighbors but was unsuccessful in locating either the dog or the owner.
Damages were estimated to total $100.
