Hartsfield Honored For Baseball Prowess
Members of the Lawrenceburg board of Mayor and Council recognized resident Ronnie Hartsfield during a meeting Thursday.
Hartsfield was presented a Certificate of Achievement “for being named to the University of Tennessee All Century Baseball Team.”
The certificate stated, “Your athletic abilities from 1978 until 1981 did not go unnoticed…The City of Lawrenceburg is proud to honor you on the acknowledgment that you were among the 26 best baseball players at UT in the last 100 years…We are proud to claim you as a hometown hero and appreciate the attention you have brought to Lawrenceburg…”
