Traffic stop resulted in a drug bust by K9.

On Thursday a traffic stop was conducted by a K-9 Officer of the Lawrenceburg Police Department on a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu at Walmart.

The K9 indicated a positive response for drugs in the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a half Pound of Methamphetamine.

The driver was identified as Brian P. Perry (44) of Columbia, Tn. Perry was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail where he was released on a $24,000.00 Bond.

Perry was charged with Possession of Schedule II drugs for resale, Possession of Schedule VI Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Perry is scheduled to appear in Lawrence Co General Sessions court on 04/05/2019.
